Fall Card Buckets Donated to Company Picnic

Here are a couple of buckets full of cards I made for our yearly company picnic for door prizes. I made them pumpkin/fall themed since it is that time of the year now. The buckets were a great find at AC Moore on clearance for $3. Then I added a cute little wooden pumpkin that could be decorated and hung up or just hung up plain. You can't really see them though.
I had been experimenting with embossing different sized pumpkins with different embossing folders. I LOVE my embossing folders!!!!! I can't wait for the new Sizzix ones by Basic Grey to come out!!!!! They really are pretty and they add such great dimension to your paper.

Cards from Stampin' Up Card Club

I started selling Stampin' Up a few months ago and started a card club with a few friends and decided to catch up on my blog and post some pictures of the cards we have been making. They are on my Facebook, but this is where I intended for all of my craft related projects to be displayed originally.
I have A LOT I need to play catch up on and get posted on here.  I have been meaning to do it for a long time. It will probably take me all weekend to add everything I have missed putting on here for the last one or two years..... if it has been that long, which I think it has been!!!

Milton Card from Previous Copic Class

This is a card I had for one of my Copic classes. It is Milton with a bouquet of flowers. I used the following colors for the shading on Milton:

E30 Bisque
E31 Brick Beige
E33 Sand

and then these colors on the flowers and various Spica Glitter Pens as well.

RV00 Water Lily
RV02 Sugared Almond Pink
RV04 Shock Pink
RV23 Pure Pink
BV02 Prune
B000 Pale Porcelain Blue
YR04 Chrome Orange
YG25 Celadon Green
G24 Willow

I really enjoy using this stamp and Wild Rose Studio has come out with several VERY cute new stamps and one in particular is a cute penguin named Pickle. He will look cute on Christmas cards!!

New Copic Class on Saturday April 9th

I have a new class for Craftopia on Saturday April 9th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. It is using Copic markers as well as the Spica glitter pens and a few other inks and paints. Cost is $20 plus a $6 kit fee. Let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to answer!

Here is a picture of my Happy Spring project made on a 4 X 4 canvas. His name is Fergus made by Wild Rose Studio. I think he is just so cute with his little handful of tulips for Spring. I love dragons, so when I saw him, of course I loved him!!!

I will post the sign up information when it is available.

More About the Memory Tree

I added less leaves on this tree than I
did on the fall tree I made last year for the
All About Scrapbooks Creative Team. I
put the  flowers on this  tree, but did not
actually glue them on. I was thinking
about adhering them to clips so I could
change them out on the tree just like
the pictures can be changed out.

I really enjoyed making this tree. The first
one I made was actually a money tree for a
friend who got married. The money fit perfectly
rolled up in the spiraled ends of the branches.
These trees can have more branches added
as well as more leaves or anything else really.

Tree I made for the Memory Tree Class on 3/12/2011 1-3 p.m.

This tree is for the first class I am going to teach for
Craftopia. There are several classes offered every
month on the second Saturday of every month. The
location is Oak Grove UMC on the corner of
Battlefield Blvd and Great Bridge Blvd.   For my class or future classes,
contact me at DragonflyKrafts@gmail.com or (757) 652-1991.

C. C. Designs Cards

I made these cards for my good friend Louanne for her Birthday using my Copic Sketch markers and my favorite cardstock, Kraft. I decided to practice posting pictures on this blog for future use.
